| Summary | 0000935: validate that dhcpd works in a VLAN environment with or without zeroconf |
| Description | Right now, I'm not 100% sure whether we can run dhcpd using conf/networks.conf without needing the NOZEROCONF=yes in /etc/sysconfig/network.
I need to try to reproduce but I think that dhcpd might be confused if there is more than one route per interface, thus the need to avoid the 169.254.. route.
http://www.centos.org/docs/5/html/5.2/Deployment_Guide/s2-sysconfig-network.html [^]
If it's the case we will need to add that to our documentation when we will support networks.conf as a first class citizen. |
