| Description | Nessus is no longer open source implying redistribution problems for us. Plus our users need to get a professional subscription to use it in any non-personal setting. OpenVAS is an alternative scanning engine that we should support that doesn't have nessus' limitations. | |||||||
| Additional Information | After François did some research on the output format of OpenVAS. It turns out it wouldn't be very hard to support it: Nessus : results|192.168.1|192.168.1.123|ssh (22/tcp)|10881|Security Note|\nSynopsis :\n\nA SSH server is running on the remote host. OpenVAS : results|192.168.1|192.168.1.123|ssh (22/tcp)|1.3.6.1.4.1.25623.1.0.100259|Security Note|\n\nOverview:\nThe remote SSH Plugin ID seems to be using some kind of OID style notation in OpenVAS. | |||||||

I looked at this previously, I have been stuck on a OpenVAS bug in CentOS 5.6. I did not retry to move forward since then. |

meu packetfence não conseguir pegar os relatório gerados pelo openvas. O que devo fazer para que ele faça. Can you open another ticket in english please? This ticket is for OpenVAS support which we released in 3.2.0 and I will close it now. |
