| Summary | 0001664: On Extreme, does not support port numbers in the form "X:Y" for Uplinks | |||||||
| Description | When adding a switch that is stacked (or a chassis), Extreme uses the port numbering format 'X:Y', where X is the unit or card number, and Y is the port on that unit/card. The verification of the port number list on the Uplinks line does not allow ports entered in this formation. This is a show stopper for anybody using enterprise-class installations of Extreme devices. | |||||||

Just use standard XY notation X is the stack unit, Y is the port padded with 0s to 3 digits. So port 2:46 would be 2046. This is how Extreme sends the information in RADIUS requests and it is how it expects any replies. |

Obsolete bug tracker entries. PF 4 introduced changes that either make these irrelevant or impossible to reproduce. New issues are moving to github issues. |
