Summary0001312: Newer versions of net-appliance-session are problematic
DescriptionIn the newer versions of perl module Net-Appliance-Session, the API completely changed. This breaking change will make a lot of code not working, especially the hardware modules.

Additional InformationDO NOT update your perl-Net-Appliance-Session package to versions > 1.36. Currently RPMForge is still at this version, but they may decide to update it soon.

Add an exclude entry for that package in your yum.conf to make sure :

/etc/yum.conf, under [main] :
exclude = perl-Net-Appliance-Session

This problem will be mitigated in 3.0.2 because our package will do an explicit require on version 1.36.

Closing this. Mitigated since 3.0.2. 0001313 is the ticket that will track our port to the new API.
