0001806: Your network should be enabled within a minute or two
In captive portal, after I put USERNAME and PASSWORD, and received the message:

"Your network should be enabled within a minute or two. If it is not reboot your computer"

... and nothing happens ....

In /usr/local/pf/logs/portal_error:

What we need also is the packetfence.log when you reg your device.

it is actually happening if you use inline mode. I also have this kind of problem in the past. I forgot how to fix it.

I remember make sure that ip forward is enabled
vi /etc/sysctl.conf
look for net.ipv4.ip_forward = 0

make sure you make it 1
net.ipv4.ip_forward = 1

then exit

sysctl -p /etc/sysctl.conf

this is for Rhel/Centos
I don't know where is sysctl.conf in debian
