Summary0001313: Port our Net-Appliance-Session to the version 3 API
DescriptionBreaking changes were introduced in the 3.x API. For now, we worked around the issue by forcing a dependency on 1.36 (see 0001312) but one day we'll need to adjust to this new API (which seems better anyway).

A gradual migration would be possible according to https://metacpan.org/module/Net::Appliance::Session::APIv2. [^] We would only need to see if we would be affected by any mentioned caveats.

Net::Appliance::Session::APIv2 was apparently dropped in 4.x :(

Anyway, once we fix this by porting to the new API, we should remove our perl-Net-Appliance-Session from our repositories.

Before doing so though, think about all the users of old versions doing a yum update that would be bitten by this.

These bugs have been sitting untouched since 2012.
Closing them and possibly reopening in github tracker where relevant.
