0001106: gentoo package
It would seem there is some demand for a Gentoo package
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=82765 [^]

Some outdated instructions are available here:
http://en.gentoo-wiki.com/wiki/Packetfence [^]

I don't expect that we will look into it packaging it ourselves unless it gets sponsored (resources being limited). But we will certainly accept any contribution that would improve our gentoo story!

Will look at this as a best-effort task.

I have got Pf 1.9.x running on gentoo. Some perl dependencies thou aren't directly in the portage tree. httpd.conf also needs to be altered to support a treaded mpm, since else the php dependency cannot be met. Also important is an alternate my.cnf, since the default gentoo mysql config is also slow for pf.
